Common Questions
Why does my calculation differ from my actual paycheck?
Our calculator uses standard deductions and published bracket rates. Your employer may withhold differently based on your W-4 elections, local taxes, benefits deductions, or other factors. Think of our result as a close estimate, not an exact prediction.
How current is the tax data?
We use 2026 federal brackets from IRS Rev. Proc. 2025-32 and updated state rates for tax year 2026. We update annually when the IRS releases inflation adjustments.
Does the calculator store my salary or personal data?
